Footman Moth (♀)

Brunia antica


This is a footman moth that i found on the wall of my house. It is a female of Brunia antica. This moth has a grey forewings, with a pale yellow costa. The size of this moth is about 10 mm in length, and its wingspan is about 20 mm.


- Spotted on the wall of my house. Usually, it can be found around the house (especially near the light sources).


- This is a moths in the Arctiidae family. It is attracted to the light (possibly a nocturnal insect). Thanks to Nuwan Chathuranga and Psyche (Dr Seow) for the ID -
