Euphagus cyanocephalus
Birds a black with iridescent, purple-green in the breeding season. Non-breeding and first-year males are brownish-black, with less iridescence. Males have yellow eyes. Females are dull gray-brown and have brown eyes.
Can be found in a variety of areas. From forests, open areas, near water and in cities.
Found in a shoreline park foraging for seeds.
