Pine Carpet

Description:

A medium-sized moth,wingspan 26 – 31 mm, of the family Geometridae. The male has narrow feather-shaped antennae. The forewing is yellowish brown. The wide transverse band in the middle of the wing is a little bit darker brown.The band has a strong bend. Along the outer edge of the wing is a narrow, often indistinct, white transverse band.

Habitat:

Resting on the wall in a front porch.
