Eucalyptus leaf gall

Description:

A very unusual leaf vein ?gall about 15mm tall, very lumpy appearance, apparently on a secondary vein of an endemic eucalyptus.

Habitat:

A local nature reserve surrounding a freshwater lake.

Notes:

Only one. Not seen this type before. Is it malformed? Apiomorpha? Opening seems to be legit.
