Spotting

Description:

irregular shaped, puffy soft mounds secreting red drops

Habitat:

urban, wood

Notes:

My friend found this when he turned over is old doghouse in his backyard. He put a pic of it online and I was intrigued. I drove there the next day to photograph it. The red drops were more pronounced the day before.

It does look a lot like that kunzah. I wonder if the wood of the old doghouse it was growing on was one of its hosts? What do you think of kunzah´s suggestion Phillip?
