Russian skyscraper sunflowers, in my backyard, St. Albans Christchurch. I took the pics in a weeks time, the first 3, one day before the 6.3 earthquake, and the last one, few days later. I left the flowers to mature and the seeds were eaten by the wild birds, in the area.
