Spotted Dove

Streptopelia chinensis

Habitat:

City, country introduced and thriving all along the eastern and southeastern coast of Australia as well as isolated patched in the center and in WA. This one was found along the Coogee to Bondi Coastal walk.

Notes:

2 races of Spotted Dove were introduced to Australia in the 1860's, but are hybridized now.
