Dispar Skipper

Dispar compacta

Description:

A very dark skipper with three pale yellow markings on the upper side of the fore wings. The underside of the fore wings had similar but less distinct markings. The hind wings were dark with possible pale markings. A grey linear stripe on each fore wing suggests that this is a male skipper.

Habitat:

Grasslands. This was spotted in a nature reserve
