Description:

This greyish sturdy mushroom had a 30 mm wide waxy cap with a slightly depressed centre. The stipe was also grey with minute white fibrils. Pale grey gills were decurrent and adnexed.

Habitat:

Spotted growing on mossy ground - in a National Park (Churchill)
