Description:

An orange, yellow and green colored Dragonfly

Habitat:

In open, native prairie grasslands fairly close (within one city block) to fresh water

Notes:

At this time of year, these small ( 2" long and 1 1/2" wide, perhaps) dragonflies are numerous and can be found throughout the park, along the mowed trails but rarely in the woods.
