Cosmet Moth

Description:

A small moth from the Cosmopterigidae family. About 5mm in length. Black wings with metallic blue bands. This type of moth has a habit of spinning it's body quickly while walking and can suddenly change it's direction of spin. Have an extremely long labial palpi in relation to it's body.

Habitat:

Around Bukit Gemuk (Fat Hill), Tawau, Sabah.
