Melanargia galathea
This very common butterfly has a body size of some 3 cm, with the wingspan of 5 - 6 cm. Wings are whitish-pale yellow with black markings.
Found on alpine dry meadow, on forest margin. Meadow placed in between the river and small lakes in protected natural reserve of river Rhône.
On photos 5 and 6, we the butterfly was resisting a push of a bee, positioning itself on a flower, and not letting go of it - in the end, it was a bee who left the flower.
