L 13 1/2", WS 33", in winter plumage the black spot behind the eye & orange legs stand out among other FL gulls

Habitat:

Sarasota Bay flanking a large group of Red-breasted Mergansers.

Notes:

Bonaparte's Gulls are rare here in the winter only...this group of 50+ is very unusual.
