Description:

About 14mm long. Looks like a bee. Possibly dead. Seems to have enlarged first tibial section on rear legs. Very furry thorax. Narrow folded wings like some stratiomyidae. Possibly ocelli?

Habitat:

Still on the tip of an acacia shrub in a local nature reserve.
