Description:

Gray belly with black and white wings. Both sexes have a gold dot at the base of the bill and the back of the head. Males also have a red dot on the top of the head.

Habitat:

Pecan, oak, and mesquite trees are what they mostly inhabit, and are found in Texas, Oklahoma, and Mexico.

In Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
