Euptoieta hegesia
South America and North America. Openings, edges, fields, and weedy areas in tropical and subtropical lowlands and foothills.
I found this specimen in my garden.
Oh! So... Thanks "Fyn Kynd" and "bayucca" (and "TomElliott" too) [and "gatorfellows" too]
Here is a link from Yale University for a record for Euptoieta hegesia; http://discover.odai.yale.edu/ydc/Record...
Euptoieta hegesia is safe:

"Fyn Kynd", I don't found anything that indicates this species in Brazil. The specie is similar... But... Is this right with sure ("Euptoieta hegesia") ?
Looks like a species of Euptoieta. Almost E. hegesia, but I don't know if it occurs in your area.
