Beet Web Worm

Spoladea recurvalis

Description:

Under 1cm Brown and cream moth with tattered wing pattern

Habitat:

Nocturnal, this is on an out-building wall under lights. These moths are said to be common in warmer parts of Australia and some other parts of the world even appearing in Belgium and DEnmark. Pest in beet crops and some forested areas

Notes:

I seem to be recording a high rate of creatures that are pests or ferals
