Northern spearnose poacher

Agonopsis vulsa

Description:

This poacher was spotted at a depth of 65 ft at Britannia Beach on a sandy/mucky sloping bottom.

Habitat:

Britannia Beach was once a very polluted site due to discharge from a copper mine. The area has recovered somewhat with life returning to the area. There are a number of sunken boats that were once moored here, providing habitat.
