pea sized seeds, bark was grey/white with horizontal groves.

Yeah as i was saying; mostly everyone who knows trees around here doesn't like them, but the residents at this home were from the U.K. originally and they told me they have nice flowers, and I second thought that it was a Basswood, until now.
Nice! i will remember that, and try to persuade others not to cut them down.
They are a first target to cut down, there wood sucks. I will make sure to leave them on my property.
