Pied Avocet

Recurvirostra avosetta (Linnaeus, 1758)


Pied avocet just has two color, white and black. Its beak is special unique upturning. They group together foraging and roosting. In Taiwan, they are migrants to overwinter and use fishfarms which had already harvested.
