Isognathus caricae
The Beautiful Isognathus Sphinx Caterpillar is a Moth of the Sphingidae family, it's widespread from Costa Rica, French Guiana, Argentina, Colombia ,Brazil and Peru, it doesn't have a breeding specific date, so there can be multiple generations per year, the Caterpillar (shown in this picture) feeds usually from Himatanthus obovatus, Allamanda cathartica and Alamanda schotii.

You can see a close up of the sting in the fourth picture. Unlike most caterpillars this one's sting is fairly long
