Mycalesis perseus caesonia
Mycalesis perseus (Fabricius, 1775), the Dingy Bushbrown or Common Bushbrown, is a species of satyrine butterfly found in South Asia and Southeast Asia. The occurring subspecies in the Luzon Philippines area is the Mycalesis perseus caesonia Wallengren, 1860. The bushbrowns, Mycalesis, are brush-footed butterflies. They are common in the warm regions from Central Asia to Australia, and have a high diversity in South Asia and the Wallacea. They are notably polymorphic, with wet- and dry-season forms differing in many species, especially as regards size and number of underwing eyespots.
Backyard garden, spotted in the garage, on the ceiling and hiding on the fluorescent light.

You are so right Adi! From brown color to almost grey, as if it is not the same butterfly.
Oh really...change of light effecting on the color is clearly visible!
Thanks Adi. :) It did not want to be photographed I think, it flew a lot, and finally hid itself on top of the fluorescent light.
Superb shots Agnes!
