Leaf hoppers

Eurypella tasmaniensis

Description:

Two small friendly leafhoppers together with several in their nymphal stages. The previous spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/173... of an emerging nymph may possibly be this same species.

Habitat:

On a small eucalyptus sapling these leafhoppers were on the extreme tips.

Cute hoppers, I specially like then in their nymphal stage. Great spotting martinl.

Thanks Stephen. I think you are correct and IO will go with that. You do not need to apologize, I am the same way but certain species are too difficult to find data.

Eurypella tasmaniensis? http://www1.dpi.nsw.gov.au/keys/leafhop/... They certainly seem like Tribe Eurymelini and they may yet have to lose their nymph colouration. Hope you don't mind, I find the hunt for a species to be addictive
