Juvenile Black Widdow

Good sized black spider on the side of my friends pool. He has red and yellow markings and uneven legs. The second pic shows him next to two water drops.

If it's a male, it is still a juvenile. The pedipalps would be enlarged if it were an adult male.

AshleyT.. could it be male? I read that juveniles resemble males somewhat. Just wondering.....
