Ploceus rubiginosus
Breeding male (portrayed) has a distinctive chestnut body, with black head, white vent, and black wing feathers edged white.
Dry savannah, grassy woodland.
Another oldie, shot in 2001 in Southern Ethiopia - and another species that I never had a chance to see and click again during my consequent visits to Ethiopia. I'm aware photos are of poor quality; but I decided to post them here anyway, only because it seems the species was not recorded before on Project NOAH.
