The black dots and small patches on the elytra of this spotting have slight differences compared with the pattern in this related spotting - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/171.... Aspidimorpha miliaris (Fabricius, 1775), called Spotted Tortoise Beetle, is a species of beetles belonging to the Chrysomelidae family, subfamily Cassidinae. The genus name is frequently misspelled as "Aspidomorpha", due to an unjustified spelling change in 1848.
