Anolis carolinensis
They are an overall green color with a white underside. They can change to a brown color to help blend in. He is showing a black patch behind his eyes because he was aggravated with us. They do this to make their eye appear larger to ward off predators.
Found in the southeastern US in lightly wooded habitats.
