Bag Worm Case (with web)

Description:

Slender elongated rather knobby case with the mouth parts and legs of the encased moth just about visible in the third photo (cropped for clarity). The interesting bit is that the case is covered with webbing of some kind. This is something I have not seen earlier.

Habitat:

In the vegetation that is part of the Neora Valley Jungle Camp. About 3 hours drive from the coordinates shown (Siliguri...nearest big town). Remote hilly forested area. Himalayan foothills.
