Description:

Found this beauty, Anticla antica, Bombycidae, Male, when I did a practice run a week before to National Moth Week 2017 It was actually very good, but I have not seen this one on actual NMW 2017....

Habitat:

Gallery Forest. 900 Meters-3000 feet above sea level, next to Tanaka National Park, a Pasture , and in a Garden with Endemic trees, plants and flowers of Costa Rica.

Thanks for all your beautiful moths spottings this week Gilma! Please use the scientific name field only for the latin binomial name (Genus + species if known); other levels of taxonomy can go in your notes or be provided by a reference. Also, don't forget to fill in the habitat field. This should describe the actual habitat where the spotting was made. Thank you again!
