Rainbow Lorikeet

Description:

Small to medium parrot with beautiful bright colours, green on the back, blue head with paler green band, and orange to yellow chest. Orange beaks, body length green tail.

Habitat:

Seen nesting in the Eucalyptus trees along the banks of the river, Fairview park, Melbourne

Notes:

gorgeous parrots, seen all around urban Melbourne and in the parks where they nest. Quite screechy noises and always chatting amongst themselves like parrots do.
