Grass Frog

Description:

Small frog, 4-5cm long body, sort of translucent yellow/orange underbelly, very pointy nose, uplifted eyes, extremely long hind legs. Distinct light green dorsal stripe, widest on top of the head between the eyes and tapering down the back. Pale yellow eye stripe also goes right down the body. Black spots down the sides of the stripes and down the legs.

Habitat:

Seen in urban back yard with large grass area.

Notes:

This one was rescued from the jaws of the neighbours cat. ..rrrr. But i never would have seen him otherwise. ...and he lived to hop another day.
