Dainty Tree Frog

Litoria gracilenta

Notes:

This tiny frog was out and about on a hot afternoon at the Poverty Point camping area in the Great Sandy National Park. It was a real surprise to see it - these frogs are generally nocturnal and prefer damp conditions. My hubby and I wanted to rescue it and relocate it to a more watery location, but it ran up a tree and got away from us. This is the only decent shot I got.

I appreciate it! I just feel silly, since I am reasonably familiar with both Easter Dwarf and Dainty Tree Frogs. : )
