Grey Wagtail

Description:

A lifer. Grey Wagtail (Motacilla cinerea Tunstall, 1771) is a small member in the family Motacillidae. The species looks similar to the Eastern Yellow Wagtail (Motacilla Tschutschensis) but has the yellow on its underside restricted to the throat and vent, and with its tail longer. Conservation status: Least Concern.

Habitat:

Makiling Botanic Gardens, a forest park of the Mt. Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (adjacent or within the UPLB-College of Forestry and Natural Resources), University of the Philippines at Los Baños, Laguna.
