Common Gum Emerald

Prasinocyma semicrocea

Description:

This beautiful geometrid moth had a wingspan of about 30mm. The wings were a uniform pale green with two thin wavy white lines. Each fore-wing showed a faint dark spot near the costal margin and about the mid-point of the wing. Costal margins were a pale yellow. The outer margins of all four wings had a thin red line. Eyes were dark and antennae white.
