Elhamma australasiae
2cm and brown as in image 2
file #red abdomen moth. The moth escaped and has been flying around the apartment out of reach for two days. These images were all that were taken before it went
In my ref link there is a forewing (worn out) that is a dead ringer for yours. These little moths are very variable in colour. Yours is a male.
It was difficult to tell what the size or colour were on the way I had the images set up at first. I had not realised until he suggested that species
The order of the images was confusing as to the resting position of this moth so although that image is out of focus it must become the first image
im not sure but it can either be a Aenetus tegulatus or Aenetus dulcis, Both found on Australia. hope it helps =)
