Sclerurus albigularis propinquus
Leaftosser is a wonderfully descriptive name for a rather drab odd looking species in the Furnariidae (Ovenbirds) family. Brazil's subspecies: Sclerurus albigularis albicollis, total of 6 subspecies.
The Grey-throated Leaftosser (Sclerurus albigularis propiquus) inhabits Neotropical forests where as its name implies tosses leaves on the forest floor to reveal arthropods which it feeds on.
