Spotted Tortoise Beetle

Aspidomorpha miliaris

Description:

This tortoise beetle has a transparent shell that we can see through its head and its spots on its back. It is white colored with a lot of black spots and has a yellow line in the middle of its back. It can fly from one leaf to another. It has two short thin antennae. This tortoise beetle is very small, about 1 cm in diameter.

Habitat:

This Spotted Tortoise Beetle lives on a tree that have a large leaves in a shady area. It was walking across a leaf and occasionally flying to land on another leaf. I spotted it at 6:16 PM in Singapore.
