Description:

Large black Ground Beetle with a metallic green sheen. The elytra are striated with orange metallic spots. About 3 cm long. Family Carabidae.

Habitat:

Came to the lights of a store, Axtla de Terrazas near Xilitla, San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
