Description:

About 15mm size, this bee flies very fast with a buzzing sound. According to Wikipedia, These bees are very important for the production of food and contribute to at least 30% of crops in Australia. This is a solitary bee which builds it's nest below ground.

Habitat:

Spotted taking nectar from a bitter gourd flower.
