Description:

Ophthalmis lincea (Cramer, [1779]), Noctuidae : Agaristinae, is a Forester Moth that has distinctive dark wings with faint blue markings and orange marginal zones. Geographical range: Philippines, Sangihe, Moluccas to Solomons; present on Palawan and Balabac Island just north of Borneo and so may occur in North Sabah. (Moths of Borneo)

Habitat:

Makiling Botanic Gardens, a 300-hectare protected forest park, situated at the lower elevations of the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve's Molawin-Dampalit watershed in Los Baños, Laguna.
