Description:

Small, active butterfly seen early this year, on the first warm days. Finally caught a photo, but had been flying a week earlier. Slightly smaller than our local Question Marks (which also tend to have darker hindwings.)

Habitat:

Garden in mixed woods, attracted to gravel driveway.
