European Starling

Sturnus vulgaris

Description:

These guys are so common almost everywhere, so I often neglect to count them.. However, here there were a noisy bunch of some 10 to 15 birds, and very used and mindless of crowd, feeding on a fig tree in the town center - the occasion was just great to let it go wasted... To me they looked like juveniles just moulted to their first winter plumage.

Habitat:

One of the commonest birds in the continent, seen almost everywhere and in every kind of habitat. Here in urban environment, town garden in the center of Mont St Michel.
