The chicks were doing this thing with their throats...the part at in the curve of the throat. It's hard to describe. Please check out this little video to see what I mean:


In the nest still which is on a dead tree branch in the middle of a small lake at the Phnom Tamao Wildlife Sanctuary. They are NOT captive birds. When they have fledged they will be free to come and go like the adults.


There were these three chicks sitting in the nest with another nest on a branch below - with the adult attending to it.
