Lepomis cyanellus
~3 inch long vertically compressed fish with greenish coloration and aqua blue short bands.
Spring fed creek in a large pool, deepest portion was just over 24 inches. Substrate was a gravelly bottom.
Fish was caught in a minnow trap, photographed and released unharmed.
