They are two different species and both are pretty uncommon and non-venomous. Still actually looking for my first live Pine snake only seen dead on road and you are right pine snake get a lot bigger up to around 7ft max
Neat shot of the snake. Advise me. Is the Pine Woods the same as the Pine Snake? Just a shortened name. I thought the Pine snake was a darker brown; or is that w/ age? What I have seen as Pines were longer than 10 inches, yet they were supposedly also non-venomous. Correct, if it is a different species?
