Dark-eyed Junco Eggs

Junco hyemalis

Description:

I have not been able to see the bird close up, but given size I'd say it is some type of sparrow. I has started to warm the eggs for the last two days. It seems to have dark head, so it may be a junco. The eggs are 3/4 an inch tall, white with brownish spotting, more towards the bottom.

Habitat:

Suburban. At the landing of my apartment on top of the fire extinguisher the bird has made a nest and lied eggs.

Notes:

I have tried not to disturb it when I approach, but it gets scared every time and flies away. When I enter/exit my apartment I came within hand reach of the nest, there is no other way. And it is at shoulder level hight, so I come face to face with the nest. I feel very sorry when I come home after dark, the bird gets scared and flies out no matter how quite I am :( Any advice?
