Description:

This sanderling, spotted in winter, shows nonbreeding plumage.

Habitat:

This bird can be seen in Brittany during winter, feeding on small animals like worms or little shrimps, running away when the waves comes back. Sanderlings nests during summer in toundras of Northern Europe.
