This dragonfly perched on the dead limb of a bush over the fresh water canal in my backyard in western Boca Raton, FL. I'd love to know if it's a male or female.
Along an inland fresh water canal in western Boca Raton, FL.
The canal has pads of floating algae which other dragonflies and damsel flies seem to like and can be seen in the background of the photos.
