The bald eagle is the National bird of the United States. It has a beautiful pure white head and dark brown-to-black body and wings. Large curved yellow bill and yellow feet. The female is slightly larger than the male.
I was so thrilled to spot this beautiful bald eagle high up in a pine tree at St Marks National Wildlife Refuge in St Marks, Florida.
