Migrant hoverfly

Eupeodes corollae

With this species, I have managed to picture 20 different hoverflies in Norway. It is the first Eupeodes sp. even it is very common. Adults are around 10 millimetres in body length. This female has similar yellow markings, commas, on the abdomen like Dasysyrphus hilaris

In the flowerbed on the balcony.

Norwegian name: Vanlig markblomsterflue
